Welcome to SMPC!

Superstition Mountain Promotional Corporation (SMPC) is a non-profit organization (IRS 501 C3) run by dedicated volunteers that promote the City of Apache Junction and the Superstition Mountain area. SMPC was formed in 1993 and our mission is to raise funds that support youth organizations in the Apache Junction area. SMPC works cooperatively with the City of Apache Junction Parks and Recreation Department, Apache Junction Mounted Rangers, and other local organizations to put on Lost Dutchman Days each February. This popular rodeo event is our major fund raising activity that begins at the end of February. The 53rd annual Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo will take place February 24, 25 and 26 2017, beginning with a Brat Party and music on February 23rd and followed by the rodeo, carnival, parade, arts and crafts fair and much more! Check the Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo website for updated information.

SMPC is always seeking new volunteers and members. If you are interested in helping your community and the youth in it, please contact us.
